What’s the Meaning of Business Success?

This can mean different things to different people. The article below polls entrepreneurs about what they think defines success.

The answers are varied and on-point:

  • “Success is running a profitable firm that conducts business with honesty and integrity”
  • “Success is the gradual realization of a worthy goal.”
  • “Success means making a living of something you absolutely love to do.”
  • “Success entails meeting the goals you have set for yourself.”

Movies in Theaters Now

If you’re a big movie fan, you’re having a great season. There are so many good ones to see. The new Grinch for the kids, Creed II for the Rocky fans, Bohemian Rhapsody for the Queen fans, Crimes of Grindelwald for the Fantastic Beasts lovers, and for all you rom/com fans out there, Instant Family with Mark Wahlberg.

I’ll probably be hitting the theaters this weekend. What will you see?

Lakers Get a “B”

Luke Walton gave the Los Angeles Lakers a “B” grade for the season so far, with the team at 13 and 9. Right now, they have the sixth-best record in the Western Conference, but have they met expectations thus far?

I guess not. Walton wants more improvement and more consistency with ball movement, due to the fact that they’re currently struggling with turnovers.

While he likes the progress his team has made, he points out there’s always room to get better.

Battle for the Soul of Kung Fu

Just came across this gem on National Geographic. It’s a good read. The first photo shows teenagers at the Shaolin Tagou Martial Arts School in Dengfeng as they build stamina with a variety of exercises. The city has become China’s kung fu capital, with more than 60 martial arts schools and 50,000 students from all over China!

Inspired by China’s legendary Shaolin Temple, a kung fu master’s disciples embraces the changing world of martial arts. Check it out.
